Hollybrook Place is a new development of homes placed within the pretty village of Rownhams which shares many facilities with the village of Nursling, due to their close proximity. In addition, Winchester is just twenty minutes’ drive away with its historic character for a further selection of leisure activities, entertainment and shopping.
Road links are excellent with Rownhams, there’s a network of routes that include the M27 running to the New Forest National Park as well as connecting to the A31 to the east, and with an interchange with the M3 to the west. Salisbury, Basingstoke and Bournemouth are all 40 minutes’ drive away for commuting routes. Southampton Airport with just eight miles away, while the Southampton railway station has services to London Gatwick, as well as trains for Bournemouth and Portsmouth, Bristol, Brighton, and Birmingham. Trains run direct into London Waterloo with fast routes taking just one hour, twenty minutes.
If you’re looking for schools, Rownhams St John’s CofE primary is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. On the same site, Horns Drove Community Pre-School and Rascals provides quality childcare and education for the Early Years Foundation stage, with After-school Club and Holiday Club for 4 to 11s. For younger children there’s Lordshill’s Tiny Toes Day Nursery for babies to pre-schoolers, and the Oasis Academy for senior years is based in Lordshill and has a ‘Good’ Osted rating.
