Our new homes at Chestnut Copse are in a charming development in Sway, a rare find and not to be missed. Situated along the southern edge of the New Forest National Park is the picturesque village of Sway. A small village, with a vibrant community at its heart.
The friendly Sway community have created a bustling village centre where you will find the award winning butchers, a post office, and convenience stores for you to pick up your weekly groceries.
Whatever your interests, Sway has plenty to offer. The village hall and church host a wide variety of clubs and activities where you are sure to find something to keep yourselves occupied. If you like to be sociable and spend time outdoors, why not join St Luke’s Church community gardening group. A great way to learn about Sways’ history is by following one of the walking or cycling routes, stopping off at the 200 foot tall historic Sway Tower, also known as Peterson’s Folly . And of course you are sure to spot some New Forest Ponies along the way! If you are into sports or thinking about joining a club, you don’t have to look far. Within a few minutes walk, you will be at the village Sports Ground and you might even find yourself becoming a member of Sway’s Cricket or Tennis club. Whether you are looking for a relaxing pub lunch at a 200 year old coaching inn or dinner at an Edwardian Manor House, you will be sure to find the perfect table at one of the 4 locally owned pub/restaurants in and around Sway. For some relaxation, there is a local hair and beauty salon, with spa days and afternoon tea on offer less than 3 miles away in Brockenhurst.
From Pre-schools to Sixth form, Sway is an ideal location for all. Within a few minutes walk from Chestnut Copse, you will find the village primary school. Secondary school and sixth form options are located close by in surrounding areas.
Sway is very well connected with great links by bus and car to the nearby towns of Lymington and New Milton, both within 5 miles of Sway. For a Golf Club, Polo School and Horse Riding you will only have to venture just outside of Sway by car. The train station is located 8 minutes walk away, whisking you off to seaside towns such as Weymouth and Bournemouth. If a trip to the City is planned, you can take the train to Southampton. With London Waterloo taking approximately 2 hours to reach.
We know you’d love to view our new homes, but as we sell these homes offplan we are not always able to offer viewings. As soon as we have the keys we are able to arrange viewings for applicants in a Stage 2 group either through ourselves or the Agent assisting us on site
