Thornhill is a suburb of Southampton, situated on the eastern border of the city and close to three major roads. The M27 easily connects you to Eastleigh and Portsmouth, whilst the A3024 will take you in to Southampton in just 20 minutes. There are three schools in Thornhill, the Hightown Primary School, Kane's Hill Primary School and Thornhill Primary School.
For sports and recreation, you’ll find the The Eastpoint Centre within walking distance. This is a leisure, conference and sports facility all in one. There are two churches, Thornhill Baptist in Thornhill Park Road and St. Christopher's Parish Church on Hinkler Road. The Parish Church is adjacent to the main shopping area (which includes the all usual social amenities) and is located in the centre of the estate.
Just a short drive away you’ll find Southampton city centre, with a host of attractions, including Westquay Shopping Centre and beautiful parks. The city is a hub of activity, so you can enjoy the vibrant nightlife, as well as visiting the many historic landmarks, including the iconic city walls. Southampton’s popularity is mainly down to its great community spirit, fantastic amenities, rich culture, friendly neighbourhoods and desirable position on the south coast. Popular with families and young professionals, through to retirees and those looking to enjoy a lifestyle by the coast, Southampton placed 20th in the UK’s best places to live survey.
If you’re looking to get your shopping fix in Southampton, you certainly won’t be short of high street shops and boutiques. Home to a bustling high street and West Quay, a large shopping centre with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars, Southampton attracts shoppers from far and wide. If you’re looking for the perfect spot to refuel during a busy shopping trip, there’s also lots of restaurants on site, including TGI Fridays, Byron, Nando’s, COSMO World Buffet and Red Dog Saloon.
Southampton offers excellent transport links, providing reliable connections to London and other parts of the UK. The M3 connects the city to Winchester and London, while the M27 provides connection to the rest of the South Coast. Southampton Central Station is at the heart of the area’s rail hub, providing services to Portsmouth, London, Bristol and the rest of Hampshire.
We know you’d love to view our new homes, but due to COVID19 we are only able to arrange viewings for those people who have applied for a home (completed the application form) and have passed the eligibility assessment, so we know we can progress the sale. We can also only arrange a viewing if we have the keys for a property so until we have taken handover, the builder still owns the property and access to the homes is limited for health and safety reasons. Thank you for your patience.
