Cranleigh is a highly desirable beautiful village placed about 8 miles southeast of Guildford in Surrey close to the A281, which links Guildford with Horsham. Our new homes are located in between the South and North downs in Cranleigh, an area of great natural beauty. Cranleigh is a historic market town and mixes the convenience of useful amenities with the character and peaceful nature of village life. Cranleigh is a large village with a host of independent restaurants and has a good arts scene. There are pretty cafés and dozens of walking and cycling routes. With Horsham and Guildford just a short drive away and London an hour and half by train, the village is perfect for commuters.
Cranleigh is made up of extremely picturesque buildings and lots of open spaces including the common. There are several local sports clubs and The Arts Centre offers a varied programme of film screenings, community theatre, music and comedy shows. Cranleigh Leisure Centre has swimming pools, a gym, squash and tennis courts and a sauna. Cranleigh has an excellent selection of shops, pubs, cafés and restaurants. In addition to a convenience store, there is a Sainsbury’s, Co-op and M&S Food store within half a mile. There is also a butcher, a fishmonger, newsagents, pharmacies and a wide range of specialist shops, hairdressers and travel agents.
The village has a large doctors surgery, dental surgery and good schools are within easy walking distance of the development. Cranleigh C of E Primary and St Cuthbert Mayne Catholic Primary schools are both rated as ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted. The local secondary, Glebelands School, is also rated ‘Good’, and the independent Cranleigh School sits on the northern edge of the village.
Cranleigh has good local bus routes with access to the village centre as well as Guildford. Cranleigh is just over half an hour’s drive from the M25, and fast trains from Guildford reach London Waterloo in just 40 minutes. Alternative services between the south coast and London Victoria stop at Horsham, around half an hour’s drive away. Some Victoria trains also call at Gatwick Airport, just 20 minutes from Horsham.

We know you’d love to view our new homes, but due to COVID19 we are only able to arrange viewings for those people who have applied for a home (completed the application form) and have passed the eligibility assessment, so we know we can progress the sale. We can also only arrange a viewing if we have the keys for a property so until we have taken handover, the builder still owns the property and access to the homes is limited for health and safety reasons.
