Bishop's Garden, Wickham

Bishop’s Garden is a new development of 2 & 3 bedroom homes, in the historic market village of Wickham, which is also a designated conservation area. Wickham sits within the Meon Valley and this surrounds the development. This area is very desirable as the countryside is not only beautiful in this area, but rolls on for miles. Nearby is the popular cycling and walking route ‘The Meon Valley Trail’, this is approximately 16 kilometres and the trail passes through very scenic areas including Butser Hill, Clanfield, West Meon and East Meon.

Wickham Square is a short walk away, where you’ll find a host of useful shops, café’s, boutiques, a bakery, pubs and more. Wickham Square plays host to many local fairs and attractions across the year including the annual Wickham Horse Fair in May when the travelling community sell and race ponies and horses and in early August, a large field to the north of The Square is transformed into The Wickham Music Festival. This has a folky feel, and this intimate festival attracts big names and music lovers from across the country. In early December, Father Christmas visits The Square to turn on Wickham’s Christmas lights and the annual Boxing Day Rally sees the village filled with vintage cars and motorbikes.

There are several Ofsted rated ‘good’ schools in this area and these include Wickham C of E Primary School, Newtown Soberton Infant School and for secondary aged children, Swanmore College of Technology is just 10 minutes’ by car*.

There are excellent road and rail links to Southampton, Portsmouth and London, and Wickham train station is just 4 minutes’ drive* from our new homes!

We know you’d love to view our new homes, but due to COVID19 we are only able to arrange viewings for those people who have applied for a home (completed the application form) and have passed the eligibility assessment, so we know we can progress the sale. We can also only arrange a viewing if we have the keys for a property so until we have taken handover, the builder still owns the property and access to the homes is limited for health and safety reasons.
