If you’re fan of the outdoors, the beautiful South Downs sit to the north and the spectacular Sussex coast is to the south. Alternatively, you can head into the centre of Worthing, and you’ll find plenty of entertainment, such as theatres, cinema, music, museums and art galleries, plus a great selection of cafes, restaurants and independent shops.
If you live in this part of the South Coast you’re spoiled for choice when it comes to beautiful coastal locations to visit, all within an hour’s drive*, these include Goring by Sea, Worthing, Lancing, Shoreham by Sea, Portslade, Hove and Brighton.
Brighton is only just over 10 miles away too, so also close by for a day out and it offers a further host of mainstream and antique shops in the historical area known as ‘The Lanes’. Brighton has many superb restaurants, pubs, theatres, entertainment venues as well as the beach and pier.
For commuting, the A27 runs along this stretch, connecting you to Brighton and the A259 connects from this road too, towards Littlehampton. The closest main train station is Worthing, this is just over 12 minutes’ drive*.
